Here Lieth the Body of Mrs: CATHERINE BARRADALL / Relict of HENRY BARRADALL Esq. of little Hillington / who was here interred, & Daughter of ROBERT NEWDEGATE / Esq: of Uxbridge Common, & JULIANA his Wife. She Died / May the 13th: 1757. In Expectation of the last Day / What sort of a Person She was, that Day will discover / This Monument was erected to her Memory by her Executor, & / the above Inscription wrote, by her own Direction.
This is one of 11 memorials in the church to a large extended 18th century local family. The Nicholl family lived at Uxbridge Common and were related by marriage to the Beale family of Hillingdon and the Newdegate family of Harefield Place.
