What’s Happening To
St John’s?
You may have noticed that St John’s looks a little different recently. The cupola that used to sit proudly on the roof has been taken down.
Unfortunately, the structure had weakened to the point where there was a real risk of collapse, posing a danger to anyone nearby. Removing it was therefore essential for everyone’s safety.
This marks the beginning of a wider programme of refurbishment for the whole church. As part of this work, the cupola will be fully restored and reinstated in the future.
