Translation of the Latin: In sacred memory of JENKYN NEWDEGATE, youngest child of GEORGE NEWDEGATE and SARAH his wife, who shortly after he was admitted to Trinity College, Oxford, suffered from smallpox disease, and gave up his life, mourned by his dear mother and friends, oh inexpressible grief. He died 8th June 1740 aged 18.

This is one of 11 memorials in the church to a large extended 18th century local family. The Nicholl family lived at Uxbridge Common and were related by marriage to the Beale family of Hillingdon and the Newdegate family of Harefield Place.
